Fund Raising & Donations

As a charity, we depend on funds raised from sources such as:

Membership subscriptions,  Event proceeds,
Facility hire revenue,
Grants and donations from Local & National bodies,  Donations from Businesses and Individuals.

Progress to realise the overall vision is limited by the amount of funds that can be can raise from these sources. As such, every grant opportunity is one that can not be missed.

Our needs for funds and donations can be broken down into two main categories:

Big Needs

and

Not So Big Needs

Big Needs
Range from significant size grants to enable large scale refurbishments such as roof repairs and refurbishment
of the Church and Youth areas to small donations and volunteering to provide day to day items and resources to  assist in ensuring the running costs of the centre such as the heating and lighting utility bills are met.

Not So Big Needs
These range from the requirement for an under the counter fridge, a water boiler and crockery & cutlery for the kitchen area, to the provision of paint and availablilty of volunteers to brighten the place up and run activities.

Thanks to the
Dulux Decorator Centre
in Milton for the recent kind donation of paint and materials for the School Hall make-over
How can you help ?

As the credit crunch and financial crisis bites deeper, it is increasingly difficult to secure funds and we have had to modify and adapt our plans to reflect this situation.

There is however, much we could do to help with our 'Not So Big Needs' directly from within the community in terms of the donation of unwanted but servicable items, the donation of funds to buy useful items, or the volunteering of hours of time and resources

If you are able to help in any way with funds, items or volunteer time please contact us using the volunteer link
